Wayne Rooney scores 200th goal for Man U, ranks fourth on Man U topmost scorers of all time

Wayne Rooney, born Oct 24 1985, in Liverpool, started his football career with Everton football club in 2002, and later went on to play for Manchester United in 2006.
This transfer to Man-U proved to be the best thing that happened to this player.

Wayne Rooney scored two goals on Tuesday against Leverkusen, making a total of 200 goals scored by the player in just 406 appearances for Manchester United, averagely nearly a goal a game for the club.

In recent times, there have been lots of uncertainty as to Wayne Rooney's loyalty to the club, especially under Manchester United's former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, but considering his recent achievement, its obvious where his loyalty lies.

This 200 goals achievement gotten by the temperamental yet prolific player might actually place him as the topmost goal scorer for the club of all time. He currently places fourth behind Bobby Charlton who scored 249 goals for the club, Dennis Law (237 goals), and Jack Rowley (211 goals).

David Moyes Manchester United's Manager is positive that Wayne Rooney might actually beat Bobby Charlton's record, considering the fact that he's still very young.
